The wide range of courses offered by offered by the Doctoral School of Archaeology allows students to choose courses that align with their individual interests, thereby facilitating a personalized academic path. For this reason, courses are also organized at other institutions, such as the following:
‘Analysis of Organic Residues in Archaeology’,
at the Department of Chemical Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II, in collaboration with the University of Naples and the Accademia dei Lincei.
The course is designed for doctoral students in Archaeology at Sapienza University of Rome and covers methodologies for the extraction and identification of organic residues using gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
The training is led by Marcella Frangipane, Gennaro Marino, and Andrea Carpentieri, and is held under the patronage of the “Beniamino Segre” Interdisciplinary Lincean Center and with the support of Agilent Technologies.
