This Call for Papers for the IV Conference on Antiquity, ‘Experiencing the Landscape in Antiquity’, will take place from June 4 to 6, 2026, in person at the Universidad de Málaga (UMA).
This is the fourth edition of an initiative that was created to promote the interdisciplinary study of the ancient Mediterranean landscape between the 7th century BC and the 7th century AD as a driving force in the integration of research and to contribute effectively to the sharing of results among scholars from different disciplines (archaeology, epigraphy, history, literature) in an international context.
The theme is Experiencing the Landscape in Antiquity, divided into 11 panels to meet the various needs and different strands of research.
