This editorial series, linked to the Department of Ancient Sciences journal, brings together in monographic form the research outputs of PHD students in Archaeology and Philology and History of the Ancient World, contributing to their training in the processes of editing, reviewing, and disseminating research.
They represent the highest levels of the department's educational offering and are significant in Italy and internationally due to the wealth of ancient disciplines they encompass and the variety of teaching and research paths that students can undertake. The thematic diversity is evidenced by the PHD theses, which are selected through an annual competition and presented to a wider audience to promote the dissemination of the most relevant results of the two PHD schools.
