From June 5 to 7, 2026, the seventh edition of "Padel and Health", took place in Rome at the Sapienza Sport Center in Tor di Quinto. This event, organized by the "Capire per Prevenire" Cultural Association with Sapienza University of Rome, the AOU Policlinico Umberto I, and the AOU Sant'Andrea of Rome, combines sport and medical prevention, offering free consultations and visits with the best professionals from the Policlinico Umberto I and Sant'Andrea.
Three days to raise awareness of proper medical prevention for all age groups, in an event where Medicine meets Sport.
Medical excellence from the Umberto I and Sant'Andrea University Hospitals in Rome took to the field, including several faculty members from the "Network Oncology and Precision Medicine" PhD program, who also held educational seminars, and several doctoral students (including Marco Gennarini and Ludovica Laschena).
Dr. Marco Gennarini (pictured with Professor Valeria Panebianco), 41st cycle, was recognized for putting his expertise as a radiologist at the service of the community during the three-day event, providing highly specialized services free of charge to the patients involved.
