Admission to doctoral programs in Italy is necessarily subject to passing an annual competitive examination, with a different selection committee every year.
Therefore, it is not possible for an individual faculty member to decide on the admission of a specific student.
The PhD call for applications at Sapienza is normally published in the spring.
