Advisory Board

The Advisory Committee (Advisory Board) was established and approved by the Doctoral Teaching Board and is composed by two coordinators of other Italian PhD schools, a member of an industrial body, a member of an external  institution, a representative of the board of directors of the Rome medical association and a former student representative of the PhD.
The members of the advisory committee for the 2024/2025 academic year are:
  • Members of Italian universities coordinators of other PhD schools: Prof. Roberto Bei (Clinical Sciences and Translational Medicine, University of Rome “Tor Vergata”) and Prof. Francesco Dotta (Translational and Precision Medicine, Siena University).
  • Industrial Company Member: Dr. Luca Marini, Incyte European Head of Medical Affairs, Incyte
  • External Institution component: CNR - Prof. Giuseppe Gigli, Director of the Institute of Nanotechnology, CNR.
  • ⁠Representative of the Board of Directors of the Medical Association of Rome: Prof. Andrea Isidori.
  • Representative of former PhD students: Dr. Marco Filetti, Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli, IRCCS.
The members of the Committee meet every six months. The duties of the advisory board include support for the planning of training/scientific activities with proposals for improving training of doctoral students reporting innovative aspects from both a university and industrial point of view.
