We are pleased to announce the launch of the NextGen Heritage call for ideas, promoted by Ca' Foscari University of Venice, as part of the PNRR CHANGES, Spoke 9 - CREST (Cultural Resources for Sustainable Tourism) project.
This initiative is aimed at young people under 35 from all over Italy and aims to collect innovative ideas and recommendations on the future of cultural heritage management, focusing on two global challenges of great current importance: migration and climate change.
This is a very important opportunity for students of the PHD courses in Humanistic, Historical-Artistic, Landscape and related to the themes of Cultural Heritage.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to present their proposals during the "NextGen Heritage - The Transformative Nature of Participating Cultural Assets" workshop, which will be held in Venice from 29 January to 1 February 2025. The selected proposals will be discussed in working tables and young participants will have the opportunity to meet directly with experts from the cultural sector.
Proposals for participation are submitted by application no later than 14 November 2024. For selected participants, travel, board and lodging will be fully covered.
On Monday, 07 October and Monday, 14 October at 17.00 there will be two webinars to present the call (link in the attached poster).
