The City of Archaeologists

As part of the Intersections/Intersezioni cycle promoted by AISU, the seminar “The City of Archaeologists” invites contributions dedicated to urban evolution and the various material aspects of the city, interpreted through archaeology.
Contributions on urban transformations, monumentality, infrastructure, construction, abandonment, social dynamics, built archaeology, landscape and archaeological sites in an urban context are welcome.
Call for Papers
The call for papers is open to anyone who wishes to submit contributions consistent with the theme of the meeting.
Please note that the deadline for submitting proposals has been extended to 17 December 2025.
Participation is reserved for doctoral students, recent graduates and young scholars registered with AISU.
