Within the exchange framework provided by the Workshop Dottorati Italiani, the BERLIN CITY WEST seminar has as its object the theoretical and design research on the theme of urban design.
The application area are Ernst-Reuter-Platz and An der Urania, in the city of Berlin.

The "BERLIN CITY WEST" design seminar conducted in Berlin, in the scientific field of Composition with the involvement of teachers, tutors and PhD students around the theme of urban design.
The projects were shared with other doctoral schools - in addition to those of Venice, Rome, Naples and Bari - with the aim of building a moment of comparison of strategies, methods and reflections, alternating moments of work within the individual doctorates strategic collective meetings to compare different visions and approaches.
The projects on Berlin, beyond any judgment, once again reflect on the fate and destiny of some emblematic places in the city.
