The seminar focuses on the work and the design process of the Italian-Argentine architect Clorindo Testa. During the year, the study and research work of the PhD students will be supported by a cycle of theoretical lessons.

Clorindo Testa is an Italian-Argentine architect whose birth centenary falls in 2023. La Sapienza awarded him an honorary degree in 2003. The seminar "Clorindo and his houses" is proposed as a vertical laboratory between doctoral students of different cycles in order to investigate the compositional thought of Clorindo Testa through the reading of his projects for living.
The case studies examined consider two conditions of the Argentine reality of urban-morphological relevance: the isolated house and the house inserted in the 100x100 m manzana.
