ERASMUS STUDY CALL 2026/27

The Erasmus for Study 2026/27 call was published on December 16, 2025. The call is aimed at students wishing to undertake a period of international student mobility during their academic career.

The deadlines set out in the call are as follows:

1st deadline: Thursday, February 12, 1:00 PM: Deadline for submitting applications
2nd deadline: Wednesday, May 27, 1:00 PM: Deadline for submitting applications for destinations still available

Beyond borders: Stories of PhD student mobility

Room B “Tecce” – Fisiologia Generale (CU026)

This event aims at introducing international and intersectoral mobility for PhD students, including opportunities of fundings and of co-supervision. Current and past students will share their research experience in foreign institutions and/or in the industry and give tips on how to make the best of a secondment abroad or in a company.


Model Systems in Biology


(course organized by the PhD Course in Cell and Developmental Biology)

The course illustrates some important eukaryotic model systems and presents their characteristics, methodological aspects, and applications in biology. The course is divided into single-topic modules; each module comprises 4 hours of theory and 4 hours of practice as follows:

Gli incarichi banditi hanno una durata di 40 ore e possono essere svolti entro il 30 settembre 2026.
 
Gli incarichi di tutorato (40 ore) prevedono l'espletamento di:
attività didattico-integrative: cicli di lezione, esercitazioni, seminari e laboratori, attività di ripasso e di recupero per piccoli gruppi a integrazione degli insegnamenti curriculari
attività di supporto agli studenti durante le attività laboratoriali o esercitative

PROJECT PROPOSALS AND PRESENTATIONS 40° CYCLE

All students of the 40° cycle must submit their 
project proposal in written form by March 31st, 2025, according to the instructions in the PhD program guidelines. The proposal must be sent by email to dottoratobcs.bbcd@uniroma1.it and, in cc, to the supervisor and the internal tutor, and uploaded in the personal Dropbox folder and in the shared Drive folder.

A short oral presentation of the project (12 min + 2-3 min discussion, preferably in English) will follow on April 8th and 15th (2.00-4.00 pm AULA FRANCO TATO', Via dei Sardi 70 II floor). Details on the order of presentations will be communicated soon.

Lectures, delivered in dedicated conference rooms, are open to a maximum of 40 students of all current PhD cycles (March 26 th morning, March 27 th , all day).
 
Introduction to the wide-field fluorescence microscope will be limited to 15 students divided into small groups (March 26th, afternoon).
 
The course will be held in English.

The call for applications for funding periods of mobility abroad for PhD students of the XXXIX and XL cycles has been published – under the Fund for the support of young people and to promote student mobility.

CALL FOR TUTORING I SEMESTER 2025-26

Announcement no. 15/2025 (for PhD students) no. 27 assignments for disciplinary tutoring and support for laboratories and exercises in the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026, of which:
 
no. 22 assignments for disciplinary tutoring
no. 5 assignments to support laboratories/exercises
 
The assignments announced have a duration of 40 hours and can be carried out by September 30, 2026.
 
The tutoring assignments (40 hours) include the performance of:
didactic-integrative activities: lesson cycles, exercises, seminars and laboratories, review and recovery activities for small groups to integrate curricular teachings
support activities for students during laboratory or exercise activities
Tutoring can be organized in online, in-person or mixed mode. The call expires on June 30, 2025.
