The first year of the PhD program is devoted to preparing a theoretical and methodological foundation, regardless of the choice of a specific research object for the PhD thesis, which takes place in the second year.
The tests for passage to the second year consist of the presentation and discussion of papers on topics related to the subjects developed in the advanced institutional courses, i.e. within the framework of the seminars conducted.
The faculty assign the topics of the papers.
The candidate will also be admitted to the second year in consideration of scientific production (papers, term papers, communications at conferences, literature reviews), attendance at lectures and any extracurricular courses (e.g., CorisLab).
At the end of the academic year, each student is required to make an analytical report on the activity performed.
