Educational goals and objectives

The PhD program in Business Administration aims to train researchers with a high scientific qualification in the field of Business Administration referring to the topics of Financial Accounting, Financial Statements, Company Valuation, Strategy, Governance of corporate organizations, Accounting History and research methodologies. It aims to train highly qualified professionals capable of conducting and coordinating study and research activities at public and private - national and international institutions. Particularly, the organization of the training activities is directed to provide PhD students with a solid knowledge of the business system's analysis tools.

Admission Procedure

Qualifications assessment	The evaluation of the applications will take place on 12 July 2023 at the Department DEAP. Criteria for the evaluation of CV and professional titles and research project are in the attached file. Candidates who have obtained a score of at least 40/60 in the overall assessment of CV and professional titles and the research project are admitted to the written test.

Written examination	The written test (max. 60 points) consists of the writing of theme related to the Business administration and however in the scope of the financial accounting, financial statements, company evaluation, strategy and governance of corporate organizations. The theme is extracted from three tracks established by the Commission. Criteria for the evaluation of written exam are in the attached file. For the conduct of the written examination, candidates will have up to four hours. The duration will be announced by the Commission on the day of the test. To pass the written test, the candidate must obtain a score of at least 40/60. The language of the written test is Italian.

Oral interview	The oral exam (max. 60 points) is finalized to discuss the curriculum, the written exam and /or the research project. The oral exam is taken in Italian and during the oral exam will be ascertained the knowledge of the English language. Criteria for the evaluation of oral exam are in the attached file. To pass the oral exam candidate must obtain a score of at least 40/60.

Research project (max. 15,000 characters including spaces) is written in Italian language and must contain the following points: a) research title and definition of the area of interest; b) elements of originality of the project; c) theoretical references concerning the chosen thematic area, inspired by the national and international literature; d) description of the specific survey methodologies according to which it is intended to organize the research work; e) feasibility of the project in the three years and forecast results; f) main bibliographical references., the file must be uploaded within 22/06/2023 ore 14:00 (ora italiana)
