Admission Procedure

Written examination The two topics of the written test are proposed by the committee and are related to the themes and figures of architectural design with reference to a broad argumentative scale that invests the discipline as a whole specifically. They mainly concern problems of theory and technique of architecture, its universal elements, the city, interiors, and architectural and urban settings.
The written test, once the intention to adhere to one of the two curricular profiles that structure the Ph.D. is declared, will be divided into two groups that will address two different tracks. The written topics may be accompanied by ex-tempore drawings and additional bio-bibliographical apparatus to fully assess the candidates' aptitude for research.

Oral interview The oral test, in addition to general theory and project topics, will be conducted on the topics covered in the written paper and on a portfolio that candidates may present in the form they deem most suitable, concerning projects, exhibitions, conferences, and research and publishing activities in which they have participated in various capacities.
