On Friday, April 4th, the Department of Chemistry will host ACS on Campus Rome. ACS on Campus is an event organized in collaboration with the American Chemical Society, dedicated to students who will have the opportunity to connect with leading authors of ACS journals, scientific communication professionals, peers, and much more!
The event is free and open to all students, researchers, and scientists studying the Sciences—not just Chemistry!
The event will begin at 9:00 AM with registration. Representing the American Chemical Society will be past-president Mary Carroll, Ph.D., along with editors of major ACS journals and experts from CAS. Additionally, we will host talks by Paolo Melchiorre on "Photoexcitation of Catalytic Intermediates: A Powerful Tool for Asymmetric Catalysis" and Simona Ranallo on "Engineering Nucleic Acids and Synthetic Gene Networks as Novel Theranostic Tools."
