Delivered study plan 2025/2026

The PhD Program in Morphogenesis and Tissue Engineering aims to train doctoral students capable of understanding and guiding the processes through which biological tissues develop, organize, and regenerate. The program is rooted in the integration of different disciplines - medicine, developmental biology, biomedical engineering, and materials science - and seeks to provide a solid foundation both in theoretical knowledge and experimental practice.
The training activities are enriched by seminars, practical workshops, journal clubs, and participation in scientific conferences, allowing doctoral candidates to develop critical and communication skills, as well as to progressively integrate into the international scientific community.
By the end of the program, candidates will have developed strong autonomy in designing and conducting complex experimental studies, as well as the ability to work in interdisciplinary contexts. The skills acquired open up a wide range of career opportunities, from academic careers to industrial research, including positions in biotech companies, regenerative medicine centers, and organizations involved in technology transfer.
