For 2026, Sapienza University is once again offering a new edition of its transversal training program on Soft Skills, aimed at enhancing doctoral students’ educational and professional development and diversifying young researchers’ skill sets.
Speakers giving institutional greetings will include Vice Rector Prof. Ersilia Barbato, ViceRector Prof. Maria Sabrina Sarto, and Vice Rector Prof. Fabio Sciarrino. Michele Rosa-Clot, Portfolio Officer Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), EuropeanCommission, will also intervene.

The program has been integrated with new modules, accessible also to researchers who already followed the entire course during previous years, and it will concern topics ranging from methods for participating in European funding programs in the field of R;I; systems for the commercialization and management of research results; intellectual property protection; the ethical implications of research; scientific communication; the Third Mission; entrepreneurship; scientific computing tools and Big Data; and the history of scientific
thought. This program is part of the initiatives outlined in the University’s HRS4R (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers). Part of the program will be led in English and will also be open to young researchers from other CIVIS institutions.
