  • 2025 Edition of the Eni Award – Young Researcher of the Year Prize, addressed to graduates born in or after the year 1992 who defended their Doctorate Thesis at an Italian University during 2024 or 2023 on the scientific topics promoted by the Eni Award on energy and the environment.   • The Italian Mathematical Union awards the Tricerri Prize in 2025 in memory of Franco Tricerri, professor of Geometry of the Department of Mathematics “U. Dini” of Florence, who tragically passed away in June 1994. The prize is intended for a scholar who has obtained a PhD from a European university, in the three years preceding the deadline of the competition, with a thesis relating to Differential Geometry. The competition rules are published on the UMI website.   • Workshop on funding opportunities for young researchers @SAPIENZA. The workshop is focused on the funding opportunities for young researchers. Various grants, such as ERC grants or Marie Curie scholarships, will be presented and discussed with experts (Dr. Odeta Limaj, Prof. Paolo Pani, Prof. Guido Martinelli) presenting both the point of view of applicants and evaluators.   • Sapienza University of Rome announces the following exam-based open call for the admission to the 40th Cycle of PhD Programmes.   • In the framework of the European School of Antennas and Propagation (ESoA, https://www.euraap.org/esoa-courses), and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP, https://www.euraap.org/) the Course “Leaky Waves and Periodic Structures for Antenna Applications” is going to take place from April 22nd to 24th, 2024, organized by “La Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. The Course is aimed at Ph.D. or Master students, scientists and designers from academia and industry and will offer Lectures on different concepts, realizations, and applications of Leaky Waves, Leaky-Wave Antennas and Periodic Structures.
