Additional training activities THE LACQUER STICK «The lacquer stick» is an internal initiative of the doctorate and which takes its title from the homonymous poem by J.L. Borges. It is aimed at promoting meetings - face to face or online - between doctoral students and representatives of the business world, of the Public Administration, of national and international institutions as well as of the world intellectual. As of June 2023, every month a high-profile manager or official, an essayist o a writer will present and discuss a book, an entrepreneurial initiative or a book with the doctoral students of all cycles his overall view of society and its underlying dynamics, in order to share ideas, scientific, professional and relational reflections and experiences. on 12 June 2023 at 2.30 pm in the Acquario Faculty of Economics room there will be a seminar by Prof. Luca Balestrieri (LUISS Guido Carli), who will present his book "The world platforms". 08 November 2023 at 11 am in the Department of Management, Fabrizi room on the 4th floor of the Faculty of Economics, the seminar by Prof. Massimo de Carolis (University of Salerno), who will present his book "Conventions and governance of world". 17 January 2024 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm in the Aquarium room of the Faculty of Economics, seminar by Dr. Enrico Calamai entitled "Human rights yesterday and today". 5 March 2024 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, in the Fabrizi Hall, seminar by Prof. Alberto Budoni entitled "Strategic planning and territorial project.
