Educational goals and objectives

PUBLIC, COMPARATIVE AND INTERNATIONAL LAW
This PhD Programme pursues the prestigious tradition of public law studies within our University since its establishment. Moreover, the programme trains researchers in investigating concerns within public laws from different perspectives. These include the study of the Italian legal system and comparative and international law, with specific reference to human rights. To achieve this, it focuses on the analysis of contemporary state law, including the theory of comparative constitutional law, European public law, environmental law and the laws of economy and human rights. The PhD programme is organised around four topics: a) environmental administrative law and public health; b) Italian and comparative constitutional law; c) public economic law; d) international order and human rights.

Admission Procedure

Written examination The test is based on a written paper concerning a theme which the candidates can select. To pass the test the candidates must obtain a score of 40/60 aat least.

Oral interview Candidates who received a mark of at least 40/60 in the written test are admitted to the oral test. To pass the oral test the candidates must obtain a score of 40/60 at least. During the oral exam language other than Italian will be verified.
