The Department of Nanometrology, Wrocław University of Science and Technology in Poland is one of the 81 departments dispersed within 14 faculties of the University. It also one of very few groups in Poland, being active in the field of investigation of various aspects of metrology at nanoscale. What is essential in such case, Department of Nanometrology cooperates closely with Polish NMI – Central Office of Measures.

The main focus of its research group is the implementation of advanced AFM, SEM, FIB and other methods in the quantitative description of nanoscale features and phenomena. As the members of the group have a various backgrounds, such as: electrical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, computer science and others, they are suitable to develop complex, multi-platform solutions to solve certain problems. With three decades of experience and international cooperation, including students exchange, it is a friendly place to develop and acquire a valuable experience. The overview of scientific activity and research potential of Department of Nanometrology will be presented with particular emphasis on its recent projects and achievements.
