For the second and third year, English lessons will be taught aimed at learning the methodologies of writing articles in the sector and at the oral presentation of the research results with the support of IT applications for the presentation of the results. The PhD student will acquire the skills necessary for the use of the most common Operating Systems, main IT applications, data processing principles, network communication and application principles of medical statistics;
It will also be supported in the knowledge and use of the main sector databases.
The PhD student will be supported in the management of basic and clinical research. He will acquire the skills for the drafting of a research project, to develop experimental protocols, set up multicenter clinical studies and manage the relationship with the ethics committees of healthcare structures.
It will also be informed about EU research funding systems by public and private institutions (MIUR, Foundations, etc).

Particular attention will be paid to raising awareness and exploitation of research results and intellectual property. For this purpose, the procedures for the deposition of patents will be indicated.
