The initiative "Quid ultra? Frontiers and Controversies in Astrophysics" has been funded by Sapienza University of Rome with the co-sponsorship of INAF/Astronomical Observatory of Rome and of the joint PhD program in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Science of Sapienza, Tor Vergata University and INAF.
Our monthly colloquia will take place throughout 2021 from January to June and from September to December.
It was originally planned that each speaker would be visiting for 2-3 days, to encourage additional meetings with Phd students and staff. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we re-arranged the first half of the meetings to be held remotely on Zoom.
Despite these limitations, the LOC will organize extra meetings with the speakers for PhD students and staff to encourage the opportunities of an exchange of information/ideas and to establish or strengthen collaborations with international research groups.
