A post-doctoral candidate to work with
Dr. Rosario Avolio (Univ. Naples Federico II) on the following Project: “Uncovering new vulnerabilities of ovarian cancer pharmacoresistance via unbiased identification of RNA-binding proteins”

The ReAct (RNA Effectors Activity in Cancer Therapy) Lab at the University of Naples “Federico II”
is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a project funded by AIRC aimed at
uncovering new molecular mechanisms underlying drug-resistance in high-grade serous ovarian
cancer. We will combine proteomics, RNA-binding assays, RNA-seq, iCLIP-seq, RIBO-seq,
organoids, and in vivo models to identify novel RNA-binding proteins and post-transcriptional
regulatory networks that drive drug resistance, thereby paving the way for new RNA-based
therapeutic strategies.
Qualifications
• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
• Strong background in molecular and cell biology.
• Experience in RNA biology and bioinformatics is an asset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.

How to apply
Send a single PDF containing:
• Motivation letter
• CV with publication list
• Contact details of at least two references
to rosario.avolio@unina.it (subject: Postdoc Application – MFAG 2024).
