Ways to encourage and support (economical, logistical, etc.) mobility of PhD Students

Students will be incentivized to conduct research activities abroad and/or at other Italian universities or research institutions of considerable international relevance. In addition, mobility for short periods for the purpose of being able to participate in conferences,
seminars, courses, summer/winter schools of international relevance, where, possibly to also be able to present the results of their own research within the framework of the research activity carried out within the PhD. For this purpose, students will be authorized by theCollege of Professors to reimburse travel expenses, benefiting from theDoctoral funds provided by Sapienza, as well as funds intended for mobility obtained from the funding of research projects in which doctoral students have been placed.

In addition, the participation of Ph.D. students in the mobility calls provided for in the Erasmus Plus Program will be strongly encouraged, also considering the countless bilateral agreements established by faculty members belonging to the doctoral college and reported in the previous section. Finally, all Ph.D. students will be strongly encouraged to enroll in the Italian Society of Pharmacology (whose enrollment fee is extremely reduced for Ph.D. students), which provides both scholarships for short- and long-term stays abroad to carry out research activities and travel fellowships for participation in national and international congresses every year. In the past, numerous Ph.D. students have benefited from such fellowships.
