Archives and museum collections available to doctoral students

In the Pharmacology building CU024, specifically in the meeting room on the ground floor, the historical archive of drugs and specimens collected by the great Pharmacologist Vittorio Erspamer, after whom the Department is named, is available to doctoral students. The archive is visible and usable and includes 742 samples divided into: barks, fruits, roots, aerial parts, seeds, oils, gums, resins, powders. etc. There areopoi drugs of animal origin, Indian drugs, extracts and some chemical substances. All samples have been cataloged according to botanical laclassification, and other information, such as provenance or traditional use, is often given.
