Admission to the doctoral programme is organised by means of public calls, usually published between May and July.
The call is issued alternately by the University of Rome Sapienza and the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
In even years the call is issued by Sapienza, in odd years by Tor Vergata.

Students are supported by a three years scholarship. See the links on the university pages to the right for details of the amount.
The course is taught in English and international applicants are encouraged to apply.
