Cosmological interpretation of baryon acoustic oscillations from DESI DR2

The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) collaboration presented results from the data release 2 (DR2) corresponding to the first three years of observations. These results represent a significant improvement over the previous Baryon Acoustic oscillations (BAO) analysis from the first yer of observations (DR1). DR2 covers a significantly larger cosmic volume and a more comprehensive analysis was performed of the combination with external datasets such as uncalibrated supernovae and cosmic microwave background data. I will give an overview of the DESI survey and present cosmological interpretation of the DR2 BAO data.
