Third Mission

The PhD Program in Endocrinological Sciences actively promotes the Third Mission through initiatives aimed at transferring scientific knowledge, engaging with the healthcare and manufacturing systems, and disseminating scientific culture throughout society.
The research activities developed during the doctorate lie at the intersection of basic research, translational research, and clinical application, promoting the transfer of scientific findings towards diagnostic and therapeutic innovation in the fields of endocrinology, metabolism, and reproductive medicine.

In this context, the Course collaborates with clinical-healthcare facilities, diagnostic laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, contributing to the development and evaluation of new therapeutic strategies and biomedical technologies.
The College's faculty also actively participate in national and international scientific societies and professional and institutional bodies, fostering the connection between academic research, clinical practice, and the definition of scientific and healthcare directions.

The PhD program also promotes dissemination of research findings through conferences, workshops, scientific events, and scientific communication initiatives aimed at the academic community and the wider public. Through these activities, the Program contributes to the valorization of endocrinology research and its concrete application for improving public health and biomedical innovation.
