Seminars

The Doctoral Program PhD in ICT organizes seminars, that are open to all, students and non-students. Seminars usually take place in the seminar room of second floor of DIET Department, on Thursdays (first Thursday of the month) at 1.15 p.m. and last 45 minutes, followed by a 30 minutes session of discussion and networking. Seminars close-up at 2.30 p.m. maximum. Relaxing the Italian-style etiquette bond of neither eating nor drinking in class, PhD in ICT seminars are intentionally planned at lunch time to favor participation; feel free to bring your sandwich inside, relax, and enjoy the talk. PhD in ICT students of first, second, or third year can retrieve course credits by attending the seminars; attested participation in three seminars grants 1 credit (1 CFU). The current schedule of upcoming seminars is as follows. This list will be continuously upgraded as more information comes from potential speakers. Please frequently check schedule updates. For more information or specific questions regarding seminars to come you may contact Dr. Mauro Biagi, email: mauro dot biagi at uniroma1 dot it
