“Research Methods and Instruments” Seminars


The lectures are open to all, joint curricula, 1st year PhD candidates and address basic topics, transversal and common to all the students that are beginning to set and develop a research path for the coming 3-year period.



TOPICS
Lectures will be structured with the aim of introducing the PhD candidates to complex relationships between key issues pertaining the disciplinary fields of the PhD and to Research Methods and Instruments, with specific reference to fundamental elements that ought to be acquired on the following topics:
- structuring bibliographic sources;
- approaches and organization of a scientific research;
- scientific research development models;
- writing a scientific research;
- PhD Disseration structure;
- research, innovation, and experimentation: taxonomies;
- applied research: how to structure a reteach proposal;
- development of a Reference frame in a scientific contribute;
- Appendixes’, Attachments’, and Supporting Documents’ role in a Disseration and in a Research Report.
