The Selection Committee, composed of Professors Susanna Pasticci, Giorgio Ruberti and Lucio Tufano, met on 04/03/2025 to review
of the list of candidates and determine the following selection criteria, for a total of a maximum of 40 points:
- Scientific relevance of the paper (contribution to the advancement of knowledge and methodologies of the discipline): max 10 points;
- Originality of content (novelty of the topic and/or research outcomes): max 10 points;
- Methodology and critical approach (congruity of the methodology adopted, rigor in its application, maturity and incisiveness of critical reflection): max 10 points;
- Congruity of the thesis revision project proposed by the candidate (self-critical ability in transforming the doctoral thesis into a monograph): max 10 points.
At the subsequent meeting on 01/04/2025, the Commission awarded the scores according to the above criteria and unanimously proposed to award the prize ex aequo to the theses of Marica Filomena Coppola and Daniele Zappatore.
The theses will be published in the special series called: “History and Analysis of Musical Cultures,” Neoclassical Publisher, Rome.
