Doctoral lesson by Piersandra Di Matteo, IUAV University

March 22, 2021, 16:00 pm

In the last two decades, curatorship in the field of performing arts has established itself internationally as an important junction in the affirmation of new paradigms for the scene, in the definition of thought practices, discursive devices, production of contexts, spatiality and temporality outside the classic scheme of exclusive show programming.
In her speech, Piersandra Di Matteo proposes a survey of the international debate, reflections on operational horizons, collective curatorial processes, contexts of production and exchange of knowledge rooted in experience, which guide the definition of unprecedented contexts of interaction, forms of spectatoriality, relationships critics with institutions, dynamics of relationship with urban life, pedagogical contexts devoted to rethinking the canonical forms of knowledge and its modes of transmission.
