Conclusion of Road-Safety Lectures with Master's Students in Transport Planning and Engineering in Cameroon

Stephen Kome, amidst his PhD journey at Sapienza Università di Roma, has recently concluded a transformative series of lectures at ENSTP Yaoundé-Padoue, Cameroon. Targeting students pursuing Master's degrees in Transport Planning and Engineering, these sessions marked a significant stride towards enriching the educational landscape in Cameroon with global insights and practical knowledge.

The lectures covered pivotal areas like road safety, leveraging a safe system approach to lay the groundwork for safer transportation infrastructures. Through research methodology, students were armed with robust tools for academic inquiry, preparing them to craft insightful master's theses. The exploration of transport policies introduced them to international decision-support databases and the power of crowdsourcing, while hands-on data collection activities offered real-world insights into traffic management and sustainable mobility.
