THE LACQUER STICK «The lacquer stick» is an internal initiative of the doctorate which takes its title from the homonymous poem by J.L.Borges. It is aimed at promoting meetings - face to face or online - between doctoral students and representatives of the business world, of the Public Administration, of national and international institutions as well as of the intellectual world. As of June 2023, a high-profile manager or official, an essayist o a writer will present and discuss a book, an entrepreneurial initiative or a book with the doctoral students of all cycles his overall view of society and its underlying dynamics, in order to share ideas, scientific, professional and relational reflections and experiences.
