More information

The laboratory activity will be focused on experiences useful for the development of the project entrusted to the single PhD student and will be carried out directly in the host laboratory.
The seminar activity will include specific seminars held by the professors of the PhD Board and will also include various seminars of multidisciplinary interest, held by Italian and foreign professors. The members of the PhD Board will hold a cycle of seminars distributed in the ratio of two-three per month starting from the month of March and until the end of October, with an interruption in the month of August. The dates and venues of the seminars will be communicated from time to time and displayed on the PhD website. Furthermore, a program of joint seminars was launched with the Doctorates in Experimental Medicine, Network Oncology and Precision Medicine, Innovation in Immuno-Mediated and Hematological Disorders, held by professors belonging to the aforementioned doctorates or by internationally renowned guests.
The independently chosen research activity will be focused on projects of specific interest to the PhD student and will be agreed with the tutor.
The independently chosen training activities will be represented by scientific/technological refresher courses held nationally and/or internationally outside the PhD course.

Method of choosing the subject of the thesis

The choice of the topic of the thesis will take place at the end of the training activity, generally lasting six months, after discussion between the student and the teaching staff.
At the same time, the reference tutor will also be identified within the PhD Board. Additional tutors/supervisors maybe part of the hosting lab

Admission to the second year

Admission to the following year requires a positive evaluation of the annual report of the activity carried out by the PhD student after examination by the PhD board.
