Dear PhD students,
to accommodate your request for a dedicated space for concentration, data analysis, and all activities related to your PhD work, starting from
3 November 2025 the
library will be made available to you, in agreement with
Dr. Ugolini, Director of the
Giordano Giacomello Library, and with the undersigned
Head of the Department.
The use of this space requires compliance with the following rules of conduct, as the library is a study area where silence and respectful behavior are mandatory to avoid disturbing others.
RULES OF CONDUCT

Do not speak loudly.

Do not bring in food or beverages, and do not use mobile phones.

Do not enter if the library staff are not present.

Do not open the shelves or consult books without the presence of library staff.

Do not use equipment or materials intended for library staff.

PhD students may bring their own laptop, but may not use the library printers.
