Millions of Dollars are lost yearly due to data exfiltration. However, in these days with the advanced defensive methods that are followed by network administrators classical exfiltration techniques are rendered useless. This talk presents two innovative exfiltration techniques that rely on Covert Channels and seems to be able to circumvent the major network administrators defences.

Bio: Mahdi Akil is laureato from Sapienza University of Rome in 2018 with a Master degree in Computer Science. Currently he is a PhD student at Karlstad University where his research focuses mainly on developing protocols and building blocks for setting up a secure and private infrastructure for identity and credential management in Smart Environments.
