BEYOND LANGUAGE 2020 (On language, democracy and nationalism)

Coordinated by Piotr Salwa e Piotr P. Chruszczewski Preliminary on line meeting: June 23 2020, 10.30 am

19-20 giugno 2020

BEYOND LANGUAGE is the first of a series of international conferences bringing together especially young researchers interested in challenging and interdisciplinary issues. The more complex the issue is, the more interesting the knowledge to gain and the more intricate mechanisms to be discovered. The BEYOND LANGUAGE international conference series embraces this challenge, aiming at a fresh perspective that goes beyond purely one-dimensional research. The organizers are of the opinion that, in order to describe any issue worth studying, including language, democracy and nationalism, one has to think outside the box and, fundamentally, go BEYOND. It is the hope of the conference organizers that especially young researchers will join the organizers in that endeavor, with the forward searching nature of a conference series that sends the masters and commanders of knowledge to seek out new frontiers. The First BEYOND LANGUAGE international scholarly conference is going to take place in Rome, Italy (Polish Academy of Sciences Scientific Center in Rome), and is going to be devoted to a number of interdisciplinary issues regarding language, democracy and nationalism. Due to the Covid-19 pandemics, the conference is postponed to June 2021. On 23rd June 2020 at 10.30 an online preliminary meeting will take place via Google Meet.
