The planned study provided in the first year includes the study of basic subjects preliminary to the research activity. They include a course of scientific English and medical statistics, in order to analyze and interpret the data obtained experimentally, a safety course in the laboratories and an animal experimentation course. Followed by seminars on specific topics, selected on the basis of the cultural themes that direct the research of the Doctorate in Experimental Medicine. The second year training offer includes the study of basic topics useful for a deepening of the scientific capabilities of the PhD students. They include a theoretical-practical course on Bioinformatics and statistical methods and a Course on Genomics and Medicine. The educational offer also includes seminars on specific topics, selected on the basis of the cultural themes that guide the research of the Doctorate in Experimental Medicine. In the third year, Journal Club activities are organized, with discussion of recently published scientific articles on topics of general interest of great impact.
