Delivered study plan 2022/2023

The PhD in 2022/2023 included two terms of intensive courses organized by the PhD in collaboration with the Doctoral School in Economics and with other PhD programs at Sapienza.

PhD students are first invited to take pre-registered online PRE-COURSES in Statistics, Mathematics and Economics.

The following two terms are organized as follows.

The FIRST TERM includes the following basic courses, with indication of the curricula for which they are compulsory. the teacher(s) and the number of credits:

The exams for I Term courses is compulsory, and will take place in the second half of January.
Those PhD students that are already familiar with the contents of I term courses (see the syllabi) may ask, via their tutor, to be exempted.

The SECOND TERM includes the following compulsory and optional courses:

Students can also agree with their tutors to attend to any other advanced/PhD course organized in Sapienza or elsewhere.

All courses are in presence and attendance is compulsory.

During the first year, PhD students are expected to attend I and II term courses for a minimum of 45 credits in total. One credit is equal to approximately 5 hours of lectures or labs. If necessary, tutors may allow PhDs to postpone a maximum of 20% of those credits to the second year.
