Research: Sustainable Transitions. Conflict and dialogue between different space conception
PhD student in the National PhD in Peace Studies coordinated by La Sapienza University of Rome for Curriculum 6 (Space, Territories, Resources, and Narratives in a Peace Perspective), I conduct my research at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Cagliari, with a project entitled “Sustainable Transitions. Conflict and dialogue between different space conception”. Through this project, I suggest an articulated look at processes and conflicts related to ecological and sustainable transitions, with a particular sensitivity to territorial contexts, spatial dynamics and visions, and local communities. I propose to investigate different experiences across Europe to find cases of successful negotiations and innovative instruments for mediating peaceful and just transitions. My approach is related to a multidisciplinary framework, although mainly oriented towards sociological thinking and community-based research. I had my Master's Degree in Social Innovation and Communication (LM-62) at the University of Cagliari, with a thesis on Community-Based Approaches and Participatory Methodologies entitled ‘Becoming Practitioner. Stories of creative participation in Berlin'. Previously I had my Bachelor's degree in Political and Social Sciences (L-36) at the same University, with a thesis on the Methodology of Social Research, carrying out an ethnographic analysis of religious practices in Cagliari's urban space, entitled ‘Liminal Spaces. Islam and Everyday Life: Fridays in Via Del Collegio'. Along with my university career, I am active in my local context, where I collaborate with cultural and artistic associations.
