In this talk I will review some recent problems arising in climate risk management ranging from climate model selection and climate stress testing to emissions estimation. I will then focus on emission targets and abatement incentives, presenting some empirical evidence on reported emissions and discussing a model allowing us to explore the interplay between carbon emission targets, endogenous GHG emission mix, and climate risk mitigation. The talk is based on works with Giuseppe Brandi, Kaveh Salehzadeh Nobari, Simone Cenci, and Sara Biagini.
