Research: Shaping the Past in ancient Mesopotamia: Dynastic Lists, Literature, and History (3rd and 2nd Millennium BCE)
Valentina Gennaro holds a Master's degree in History of the Ancient Near East from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. She is currently a PhD candidate in Philology and History of the Ancient World at Sapienza University in Rome.
Her academic interests center on third-millennium BCE Mesopotamia, with a particular focus on its social and political history. The principal objective of her research is exploring how the past was conceptualized, interpreted, transmitted, and utilized in the Ancient Near East.
