Research: Protection mechanisms for ex-combatants undergoing reintegration. The case of Colombia
PhD student in Peace Studies, Curriculum 9 – Restorative justice, transitional justice, and nonviolent conflict transformation, with a project entitled "Protection mechanisms for ex-combatants undergoing reintegration. The case of Colombia.“ She holds a bachelor's degree in ”Political Science, International Relations, Human Rights“ and a master's degree in ”Human Rights and Multi-level Governance" from the University of Padova. In 2020, she volunteered with the European Solidarity Corps in France. From 2021 to 2025, she collaborated with the Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca” of the University of Padova on a research grant. In 2025, she participated in the European Union's “Humanitarian Aid Volunteering” program, working as a project officer in Tumaco, Colombia, on educational projects promoting a culture of peace and violence prevention among the Afro-descendant and indigenous populations and the empowerment of women human rights defenders.
