Instructions for Conference/Course/Scientific Exchange Activity Requests

Authorizations and Reimbursement

All activities must be pre-authorized by the administration.

Authorization and reimbursement procedures can be viewed and downloaded from the "MODULISTICA" (Forms) section of the "Biologia e Biotecnologie 'C. Darwin'" department website, where the following are available:
  1. The Vademecum for Research Trips (Vademecum Missioni)
  2. The Research Trip Authorization Request Form (Modulo di Richiesta Di Autorizzazione Missione)
  3. The Internship Authorization Request Form (Modulo di Richiesta Autorizzazione Stage)
The  AUTHORIZATION REQUEST FORM FOR RESEARCH TRIP must mandatorily be:
  • Sent via email to dottorato.scienzedellavita-dsb@uniroma1.it for approval and to marcella.marchetti@uniroma1.it for reference
  • Sent, before the trip begins, to the Research Trip Office at missioni.dbbcd@uniroma1.it.
  • Uploaded to INFOSTUD at https://www.uniroma1.it/it/notizia/app-infostud by following the instructions on the system.

The scholarship amount is increased by 50% for any periods of study or research abroad.
  • For the recognition of this increase, it is essential to upload to the INFOSTUD platform a certification from the host Institution/University, on its official letterhead, stating the actual period spent abroad and signed by the Institution's Head/Contact Person.
  • The above financial support is compatible and can be combined with other grants awarded by national and foreign institutions useful for integrating the PhD student's activity with stays abroad, as well as with funding from the MUR "Fondo Giovani".

The reimbursement request for research trip will be managed by the Department's Research Trip Office (missioni.dbbcd@uniroma1.it)
Important

The  authorization request for research trip must be sent no later than 7 days before departure to missioni.dbbcd@uniroma1.it, attaching documentation supporting the purpose of the research trip, online courses, workshops (e.g., event poster in case of conference participation).

The authorization request must also be sent for courses, conferences, and for activities at facilities/laboratories other than your own.

NOTE: For internships, PhD students, in addition to the internship authorization form signed by the coordinator, must also submit the research authorization request.
