Phd in DOCUMENTATION STUDIES, LINGUISTICS AND LITERATURE

I graduated from Sapienza University of Rome in 1995 in Modern and Contemporary Italian Literature wth a degree thesis on the work of Italo Calvino. This was followed by a specialisation at the Vatican School of Library Science and, after writing contributions published by various newspapers and journals, I became a member of the Italian Association of Journalists (1997). I worked on the Encyclopaedia of the human body (CD-version) for the Enciclopedia Treccani and was responsible for several book collections published by digamma/Adnkronos. My most important experience in the field of publishing was in Geneva (CH), where I worked at the French publisher, Éditions Honoré Champion, as commercial manager for its international market (2000/2001). My role involved working with the editorial director (prof. Claude Blum, Sorbonne University of Paris), the authors and university departments and libraries around the world on the study of French Literature. In 2001, following a public competition, I became a teacher of Italian Literature and Latin Language and Literature in the public secondary school in Rome. I specialised on the CLIL method (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and was the coordinator of the Department of Literature at the school. For a number of years I was also responsible for a workshop aimed at improving students’ writing skills and for an interdisciplinary project aimed at studying the 20th century history and literature. On 1 November 2022, I started a doctorate in Documentary Research, Linguistics and Literary Studies, in the section dedicated to Literary and Gender Studies.
