The right of the person and the law of the family and of succession are sectors of the legal system which, in recent years, have become protagonists of a growing evolution of society which has had great repercussions on people's daily lives and on the free development of their personality.
The relevance of the issues that are at the heart of this discipline and its continuous transformation justifies the existence of a group of researchers whose purpose is to study the most recent developments in these sectors.
In this context, TOI was born. – Tandem got iustitia, a research group that aims to welcome weapons and studies around the construction of a contemporary civil law that respects the principles and values of the legal system that contributes to research by promoting rigorous scientific discussion.
In a response that tends to be dominated by individual research, the creation of a collective space for the exchange of academic experiences will be a stimulus for the creation of a scientific community that will devote itself to the collective discussion of projects, to all the elaboration from individual or collective writings to organization of academic conferences on current issues and traditional controversies.
The proposal of new topics and innovative study methods will also take into account the study of comparative law in a perspective that analyzes the romantic tradition in which the legal systems of Latin America are immersed.
