Ricerca: Exploring Food Waste Reduction Methods from Behavioral and Experimental PerspectivesHaoran is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Economics and Law of the Sapienza University of Rome. In 2019, he received his degree of M.Sc. in Economics from Barcelona School of Economics (Pompeu Fabra University). During 2019-2020, he studied at the Autonomous University of Barcelona for the first year of its M.Res. program in Economics (the IDEA). Currently, Haoran is a visiting scholar at the Ohio State University under the supervision of Prof. Wuyang Hu.
Haoran’s research interests include combining behavioral and experimental methods to explore agricultural economic issues, such as households' food waste reduction and pollution reduction cooperation behaviors among agricultural agents. Haoran’s doctoral dissertation focuses on looking for effective nudges and interventions to reduce households' food waste, improve households' nutritional conditions, and mitigate the negative health impacts of inadequate food consumption habits.
