PhD student in Documentation Studies, Linguistics and Literature, curriculum of Language Theory and Education at La Sapienza University of Rome.
My research project lies within the field of contrastive linguistics and more specifically focusses on contrastive phraseology, using a corpus of children’s literature.

2021 • Winner of grants of Sapienza University of Rome: joint PhD mobility (with Silvia Cannizzo); Avvio alla Ricerca – Tipo 1 (as applicant; “Costruzioni a verbo supporto nederlandesi con il verbo ‘maken’: individuazione, descrizione e analisi in ottica contrastiva”); Progetti Medi (as component of the research group, applicant Sabine E. Koesters Gensini, other components Maria Roccaforte e Isabella Feron; “I verbi sintagmatici tedeschi: Dati psicolinguistici e conseguenze glottodidattiche”).
2021 • Member of both the organizing and editorial committee of the First Doctoral Conference of Phrasis, the Italian Association for Phraseology and Paremiology, titled ‘New studies on phraseology and/or paremiology’ and held as an online event May 26th-28th 2021.
2020 • Admission to the Graduate School of Humanities of Leiden University, enrollment as a PhD student in joint-supervision.
2019 • Admission and enrollment as a PhD student in Documentation Studies, Linguistics and Literature at La Sapienza University of Rome.
2019 • Master degree in Linguistics at La Sapienza University of Rome (110/110 cum laude).
Thesis: La fraseologia di Calvino nelle traduzioni nederlandesi (supervisor: Sabine Elisabeth Koesters Gensini, co-supervisor: Francesca Terrenato).
2016 • Bachelor degree in Greek and Latin Language and Culture at Leiden University.
Thesis: Van bedelaar tot koning in vijf dagen: dramatische ironie of early recognition in Odysseus’ herkenning door Eumaios en Eurykleia (‘From beggar to king in five days: dramatic irony or early recognition in the identification of Odysseus by Eumaeus and Eurycleia’, supervisor: Adriaan Rademaker).
2015 • Bachelor degree in Italian Language and Culture at Leiden University (cum laude).
Thesis: Il vocalismo atono nel dialetto di Cervara di Roma: L’inchiesta di Merlo 100 anni dopo (supervisor: Roberta D'Alessandro, co-supervisor: Claudio Di Felice).
